This month is crazy busy, so please excuse me while I become a recluse for the next four weeks. I’ll be coming out of the cave studio on the 16th of June for the opening of Purveyors of Firewater & Opiates with Matthew Ryan Sharp at LIFT, and again on the 25th for the opening of Pushin’ Paint at Rivers Edge in Wyandotte. Come say hi, I’ll be giddy for human interaction.

Ron Zakrin is quickly becoming one of my favorite Detroit artists. His lush color palettes, textured canvas’ and unique characters, with their beautiful otherworldly glow, are hard to turn away from. He easily pulls you into his own mystical realm, and once there you won’t want to leave.
323 East in Royal Oak will be hosting Ron’s next solo show Still Life with Drum Machine. An exhibit heavily influenced by Zakrin’s love of electronic music. Check out the opening on Friday, May 18th and be amazed!

Giving my broken washer a proper send-off. Art until trash day!
I’ve got a two man show and a group show on the horizon, so I won’t be back for awhile. Probably mid-July at the earliest. >____<
Until then, all your untaupey needs can be met through the online shop or through one of these great local shops! ^____^
