Sometimes I feel like a machine….. a machine that runs on cheeseburgers.
You know the pocket sized blocks with all those crazy rabbits on them I’m always posting? Well this is one of the machines that they *kerplunk* out of on a regular basis. It’s an Art-o-Mat!
This machine is currently in the works at AoM HQ for an install in Chicago this spring! I love that green and can’t wait to see it finished.
Quick shot of the back panel for a new Art-o-Mat machine being created for Yusho in Chicago. The brown blocks are sample spaces & the text will be cut acrylic. Time to get it boxed and shipped off to AoM HQ! Can’t wait to see it finished.
New series of Rabbits for the Art-o-Mat! #26-50 of 50 original rabbit illustrations in color pencil & ink on MDF blocks. Soon to be kerplunking out of a machine possibly near you.
New series of Rabbits for the Art-o-Mat! #1-25 of 50 original rabbit illustrations in color pencil & ink on MDF blocks. Soon to be kerplunking out of a machine, possibly near you.
Bunny Blocks spotted in the Art-o-Mat at Lift Designer Toys & Gallery in Royal Oak. Looks like there are even a few originals from series one in there! Woot woot. $5 a pop.
Since Lift is currently the new home for this machine they’ll be hosting a welcome party on the 13th of January from 7-10pm. Bring a stack of fives and get ready for some mad kerplunking because the machine also features sweet barcode art flip-books from Scott Blake, Bearded Bunnies from William Hessian, the Queens o’ Scream by Juana Moore, 3-D photographs from Dean Walch, original paintings by Kettle and more!
Which machines my pieces end up in are always a mystery, so if you see them somewhere let me know through my Facebook or Twitter profile. ^______^
